Services

Three ways to get your BRSR right.

Choose how much you want your own team to do. Each service builds on the one before it, and each ends with a report ready for your assurer or assessor.

Which one fits you?

  • Your team has written BRSR before and wants an expert check: Readiness Review.
  • Your team writes it, but the data comes from many plants and BRSR Core assurance or assessment is coming: Full Support.
  • You have no ESG reporting team, or would rather not build one: Report Preparation.

Not sure? Call +91 90083 02301 or write to us. In 20 minutes we can tell you which one fits, and what it would involve for your company.

One role per company. For any company, we either check the report or prepare it, never both. If we prepare your report, an independent assurer or assessor checks it.

Service 1 · Your team writes the report

BRSR Core Readiness Review

We review last year’s published BRSR and XBRL filing, visit your plants and list the gaps: what is missing, what is wrong and what cannot be traced to records. Your team fixes them in this year’s data and report. We then review this year’s draft and check the corrections until it is ready for your assurer or assessor.

What you get

  • Findings list, with the SEBI requirement behind each point and how to fix it
  • Correction plan with owners and dates
  • Comments on this year’s draft, and a closing note on each finding
  • Short board presentation

Duration

Review and gap list in about 6 weeks. Final check after year-end. If you move to Full Support within 60 days of our findings, this fee is adjusted against it.

Service 2 · Recommended · Your team writes the report

BRSR Core Full Support

Everything in Service 1, plus we check your data before the report is written. This works like an internal audit of your ESG report, with your assurer or assessor as the statutory auditor. We give you ready formats for every BRSR data point, your team fills them each quarter, and we verify the figures against your records and send them back with corrections. Your team writes the report; we review it, do a trial run of the assurer’s or assessor’s checks, and stand with you during their visit.

What you get

  • Everything in Service 1
  • Data formats and a list of records to keep as proof
  • Data check notes each quarter, with corrections
  • Trial-run report before assurance or assessment
  • Support until their queries are closed

Duration

One full reporting year. If we start mid-year, we check the months already passed in the first 6 to 8 weeks.

Service 3 · We write the report

BRSR Report Preparation

Everything in Services 1 and 2, plus we do all the calculations and write the full report. Your team collects the data in our formats and confirms the facts. We calculate energy, emissions (Scope 1, 2 and 3), water, waste, all intensities, workforce and safety figures, write the complete BRSR, prepare the XBRL data and the board presentation, and set up the proof file for your assurer or assessor.

The report remains your company’s report: your team confirms the data and your board approves it.

What you get

  • Calculation workbook, with the method used for each figure
  • The complete BRSR, ready for board approval
  • XBRL data for filing, and board presentation
  • Proof file index and trial-run report for your assurer or assessor

Duration

April to mid-June of the next year. The report is ready about 10 weeks after 31 March, leaving June and July for assurance or assessment.

For all three

What we need from you

  • Named data owners at each plant and function
  • Requested records returned within 10 working days

Carbon pricing · India and EU

CCTS and EU CBAM Readiness

Carbon now has a price on both sides. Under India’s Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS), obligated plants must meet emission-intensity targets or buy credits. Under the EU’s CBAM, exports of steel, aluminium, cement and fertiliser carry a carbon cost. Both depend on the same plant-level emissions data. We check that data, estimate your position and cost, and show how to improve it.

Who it is for

Plants notified as obligated entities under CCTS, and Indian exporters of CBAM-covered goods.

What you get

  • CCTS: emission intensity against your notified target, and likely credit surplus or shortfall
  • CBAM: which products and shipments are exposed, and likely cost
  • Plant emissions data: what exists and what is missing
  • Options to cut the cost: data quality, energy mix, process changes

Scope 1, 2 and 3 · Net zero plans
